Overview :

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It’s also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Itinerary :

  • Day 01: Arrive at Delhi to Shimla (380 Kms. / 08 – 09 Hrs.)

    Arrive at Delhi airport or railway station and drive to Shimla, arrive Shimla check in at hotel Shimla (2,276 m/7,467 ft) used to be the summer capital of British India with a well-planned architecture, The town is famous for pleasant walking experiences on hillsides surrounded by pine and oak forests. This capital city of Himachal Pradesh is famous for The Mall, Ridge, and toy train. Evening at leisure and relax at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Meal : Dinner Included

  • Day 02: In Shimla (Kufri & Shimla local sightseeing)

    After Breakfast, excursion tour to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, poney and Yak ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Later visit Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (Vice regal Lodge built in 1885). Jakhoo Temple (by ropeway/walk) at 2455m, this is the town's highest peak and a famous point for Shimla's famous views. The summit is crowned with a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Lakkar Bazar, Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre-the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), Kali Bari Temple.   • Day 03: Shimla to Manali (via Kullu) (270 Kms. / 08 – 09 Hrs.)

    After breakfast you will depart by surface for Manali, en-route pass by Beas Sutlaj Link project, SunderNagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Kullu valley, visit Shawal factory, arrive Manali and check in at hotel.   • Day 04: In Manali (Excursion to Solang valley)

    After breakfast drive to Solang valley, Solang valley the place is also well known for adventurous sports whether summer sports or winter sports. Parachuting, skating/skiing, zorbing and paragliding are some of the famous sports played here. Few ski agencies also offer different courses as well as equipment to enjoy but these agencies are active only in winter seasons since snow melts in summer season, Solang takes you to world famous tunnel also known as Atal Tunnel Note: Rohtang Pass sightseeing tour as per the NGT directions & subject to vehicle permits & pay as per actual by guest Evening free for leisure and explore the shopping mall of Manali.   • Day 05: In Manali (local sightseeing)

    After breakfast local Manali sightseeing tour visit Hadimba Temple built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Club House The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Visit Manu temple which located in old Manali. Later proceeding to Vashisht village well known for its hot springs. Later visit Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar.   • Day 06: Manali to Chandigarh (350 KMS / 08 – 09 hrs.)

    After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Chandigarh. Chandigarh is the 1st planned modern city of India designed by the French architect Le Corbusier. Evening at leisure and relax after long journey. Overnight stay at hotel Meal : Breakfast & Dinner Included

  • Day 07: Chandigarh (sightseeing) to Delhi depart (250 KMS / 05 – 06 hrs.)

    After breakfast check out from hotel and visit Rock garden, Rock garden is an epitome of creativity and innovation. It is a unique garden that consists of various art objects. But the best part about the rock garden is that each of its artwork has been made by using industrial & urban waste. It is located in Sector 1 between the Capitol Complex and Sukhna Lake. The credit for laying its foundation goes to Nek Chand, who was the then Road Inspector in the Engineering Department of Chandigarh Capital Project. Sukhna Lake, Sukhna Lake is a beautiful lake that lies in the foothills of Shivalik range. The unique thing about Sukhna is that it is a manmade lake. It is a 3 km long lake that was created in the year 1958. It was done by damming the Sukhna Choe, which a seasonal stream is flowing down from the Shivalik hills. Sukhana Lake of Chandigarh, India has become an integral part of the city. Visit Rose Garden, Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, is a botanical garden in Chandigarh, India and spread over 30 acres of land, with 50,000 rose-bushes of 1600 different species. (Chandigarh sightseeing tour subject to time permits) Later drive to Delhi airport or train station and board flight or train back to home. Meal: Breakfast & Dinner Included
