Overview :

Coorg (Madikeri) Coorg lies 1525m above sea level in the Western Ghats. It is one of the most well-known hill stations in Karnataka, and a preferred summer retreat in the south. Referred to as ‘the Scotland of India’, beyond its natural landscape, it is also known for its coffee. Long and circuitous roads, undulating paddy fields, thick canopy of coffee plantations, ever gurgling brooks and rivulets, lashing rains in monsoon, provide relief to the visitors from their busy and monotonous routines. With panoramic views of the blue hills and lush greenery, the landscape of Ooty promises a great number of beautiful memories for the tourists. Tucked amidst the breathtaking tea gardens, these places let you soak in tranquillity of nature and enjoy a serene ambience.

Itinerary :

Day 01: Arrive Mangalore – Coorg (138 Kms)

Arrive at airport and then drive towards Coorg, on arrival check in at hotel followed by Dinner and overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 02: Coorg

After breakfast full day city tour of Coorg, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of the River Kaveri where bathing and feeding of the elephants are done. Dubare elephant camp in Coorg is the perfect destination to enjoy Elephant rides and bird watching. In afternoon visit to Talacauveri, which is situated in the picturesque location of Brahmagiri hills. It is the origin of River Kaveri and a beautiful Talacauvery Temple built around it. Later, climb Brahmagiri peak and then pay a visit to Bhagamandala. Bhagamandala is famous for the confluence of the three sacred rivers, Kaveri, Sujyothi and Kanike. You can also visit to the temple dedicated to Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva) and get the blessings. Return to the hotel by evening for overnight stay.
Day 03: Coorg at leisure

Today you have full day at leisure to explore Coorg and around. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 04: Coorg to Mangalore

Morning check out from hotel and drive towards Mangalore airport, on arrival drop at airport, tour ends with great memories.
